Stefan Thomaschuetz joins the discussion on Virtual Reality technology at the March event on the 26th of March in Las Vegas. The topic for the evening is “Virtual Reality. What’s the Reality? A Hands On 360 Experience”.
Stefan’s career spans a broad range of the hospitality and retail sector. He is currently the Director of Business Development for eHotelier, charged with growing the company field of operations internationally.
He began his career at Hospitality school and upon graduation committed ten years to an operational career in hotels in Europe. It was then that the opportunity to migrate to Australia arose.
Arriving in Australia at the age of 22 he launched his first business, STAT Australia Imports Pty Ltd. The company operated in the retail sector as an importer of luxury products from Austria and establishing distribution in the Australian and New Zealand markets in conjunction with partners and agents in various locations.
In four years the company established 100 locations around the region. Stefan took the opportunity to sell the company and migrated back toward hospitality opening a Cafe and a Restaurant operation in Sydney.

After three challenging but exciting years in the business he decided to focus on a work life balance and family, selling both businesses and taking his next career step joining eHotelier in 2017.
eHotelier is focused on professional development of hospitality practitioners. The company provides a digital news, information, editorial and public relations hub for the global hospitality industry as well as broad range of eLearning products and certification through the eHotelier Academy. In his current role he works with industry management to provide products to the Hospitality industry with measurable success and return on investment.
Stefan is a graduate in Hotel & Tourism Management from the Hotel Academy Warmbad Villach in Austria. Originally hailing from Austria he decided to add an ‘al’ to his birth country and migrated to Australia. He and his family reside in Sydney.
Stefan’s diverse industry background culminating in education and training for the hospitality industry will provide practical insight on the topic of Virtual Reality. Testbed.Vegas looks forward to his contribution to the dialogue.
