Testbed Vegas traveled to Europe in April to attend the third annual HITEC Europe trade show in Palma de Mallorca.

Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC) is a product of Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP). Testbed Vegas’ Co-Founder Mark Fancourt is a current Director for the Global Board of HFTP.
In an interview with Rich Siegel, President & Founder of Hospitality Upgrade, Fancourt discussed the value of HITEC Europe as an emerging event for industry technology. “You make very genuine connections here and people have time. They take the time to speak. Whether it’s Mallorca or whether it’s somewhere else I will definitely come back, because I believe in a global industry”.
As well as attending the event, Testbed Vegas added their expertise to HITEC’s E20X event. E20X is a pitch competition for statup technology company’s looking to bring innovation to the hospitality industry. Contestants compete for the Judges prize and bursary as well as being voted upon in the People’s Choice award as determined by attendees of HITEC.
Testbed Vegas participated in the E20X mentor program providing advice and the benefit of experience to the eight company’s competing in the competition. In past editions of E20X Testbed Vegas has participated as a Judge for the event in Europe and North America in 2018.
The next edition of E20X will take place in Minneapolis in June at HITEC Americas.
