Recently returned from several years in the thriving gaming enclave of Macau, Rahul Kaushik brings a business perspective to the information security discussion at Testbed Vegas’ Vegas Travel & Hospitality Tech event on July 30.
Rahul has built a career working directly with customer facing platforms and customer information. From his earliest roles in supply chain technology for retail and online shopping eventually leading him to Las Vegas where he became involved in the gaming industry, consulting on the opening of Wynn Las Vegas.
He liked the industry he found, joining Wynn Resorts and commencing a 15+ year journey of growth with many of the premier operators in gaming including Wynn, Sands and MGM, across the two largest Integrated Resort markets of Las Vegas and Macau.
With a strong desire to experience different aspects of the business, he has been fortunate to work at an executive level for 10 of the last 14 years, leading key strategic projects on behalf of his organisations.
Rahul gained his greatest satisfaction focusing on understanding, interacting and marketing to the customer. In his most recent role as Senior Vice President, he headed the Sales and Marketing division for MGM China overseeing functions of Loyalty, Promotions, Sales, Revenue Management, Data Science, Social Media, Brand and Advertising.
Driving structure, data science, technology and integration of different marketing arms in an industry that runs at the pace of latest whims of the customers has been an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Rahul’s view is that there are many emerging opportunities and advantages through current disruptive technologies in customers lives, becoming norms and expectations in their experience at hospitality destinations.
Rahul originally hails from New Delhi in India. Calling the Unites States home since the 90’s, he and his family are settled in Las Vegas having recently returned from his work in Macau. With an early educational background in Engineering he continued his education to gain an MBA from Cox Business School at Southern Methodist University.
